Last month I had the really fun opportunity to attend the In2Crafts Expo at Emperors Palace in Kempton Park.
Even though yarn suppliers were few at the Expo, I met the awesome Dana Biddle from Colourspun (www.colourspun.com)
I loved having a nice long chat with her about her yarns and colours, and bought yarns that I would not normally have bought. I bought yarns in Cotton, whereas I normally buy wool, silk, alpaca, etc. I am excited to knit with the cottons in summer, as I believe they will be great and comfy without being to warm.
I got the cutest buttons and goodies as well. I simply could not resist the giraffes and snowmen. Not to mention this stunning paper, at the most reasonable prices. They are perfect for those special notes you want to write to a friend or swap buddy when you prepare a package with gifts and goodies.
And since I have been tempted and wanting to do sewing and embroidery, which is on my list for summer crafting, I bought the supplies for a cute little cushion to make.
And like most crafters, I could not resist a book or two. These are unusual, and will go a long way towards expanding my “need to be busy”

Thank you. I was very fortunate to meet the yarn seller especially. She had the most gorgeous yarns, and I had to contain myself. 🙂 I hope to get knitting with them soon.

Ooooh… lots of goodies to keep you busy for a while! Giraffe-anything always catches my eye 🙂 Cotton is great in summer. I knit cotton throughout the year, but find it’s best for sweaty weather 😉 ♥ ❤

🙂 Discovering cotton now, always loved my wool. Cotton is great. Loving it just as much. Indeed perfect for the warmer weather when you still want to knit and craft but your hands are to hot.
I adore Giraffes, they are so cute. Always getting more!
