I received not one, but two swap packages in the mail this week.
Just how very lucky can a girl be. And both included goodies for winter, which is right on time. The weather here is slowly growing cooler each day.
The best coincidence of it all was, both packages are from Germany.
The first one was from the beautiful city Wuppertal. I am adding this gorgeous place to my “to do” list, I must visit it some day. 🙂 The package had mittens! To pretty to wear maybe, but I am definitely going to wear them, I just know they are going to be so very popular each time I go out. I have received (and knitted myself) many of the fingerless type of mittens, but never as pretty and detailed as these. They fit 100%. And also lovely gifts, goodies and treats. I adore the blue Regia yarn, and had some of the chocolate already, just divine. The jelly sweeties are in my bag, just in case. 🙂
My second package is also from Germany. It is stunning socks from Hotsock, knitted in a LOTR pattern, (Master Elrond). The pattern designer is Claire Ellen. Master Elrond is an Elf, and I do love Elves. Now I can a very cosy warm little elf myself this winter, with my Master Elrond socks. The yarn is hand dyed by Hotsock. Beautiful colours for winter. And look at the cute goodies, including a sweet little sock, and snail tape measure. He is going to come traveling with me…..
Now I am so ready for our winter!
