I am happy to say that we Finally had a rainy day. It rained beautifully for most of the day on Saturday. I loved the rain, as we desperately need it.
It also meant I got to get crafting and hibernate.
I worked on my #stitchingsanta2017 partner goodies. I am not good at sewing, but gave it a try and made some mug mats. In bright and cheerful colours. I also made a few crocheted coasters.

I did some wool shopping as well. I may keep those as a surprise.
Such pretty mug mats and doilies. Cna’t wait to see what more you are creating. Glad you were able to get a rainy/crafty day 🙂
Indeed, I loved the rainy day. We have had 2 more days of good big storms, and I am keeping my fingers crossed for more. Even though it meant a power outage yesterday of 15 hours, the water and rain is much appreciated.
All my goodies are done for swapping and posting as well now. 🙂 It has been a good week.
Lovely gifts! Glad you hot some rain 🙂
Thank you. Gifts are all done and ready to ship and swap.
We are finally getting some rain, had 2 lovely big storms the last 2 days. Keeping my fingers crossed for more. 🙂
Well done. I’ve just come back from 10 days in Europe where we had nothing but rain. Ironically now I’m back to the usually damp Dartmoor we have bright fine weather 🙂 Hope you’re having a great week xx
Your trip to Europe is beautiful. I am adding all those places to my “to do” list for one day when I visit there. 🙂 It is gorgeous.
We have had rain for 3 days now, mostly in the afternoons and evenings. It is perfect. I am loving the rain.
Only have a week and bit to go before I am on summer vacation break here. Have to start thinking about what to pack. 🙂
Glad you’ve got lots of rain and your holidays coming up. Are you staying in SA or venturing further afield. Do hope you have Dartmoor on you list of European places to visit 🙂
We are enjoying the rain. 🙂
Holidays is a trip to Cape Town (down to the coast) and then all the way to the very east to a game reserve and peace and quiet in the mountains. 🙂
🙂 Indeed Dartmoor is on the list too!
Enjoy your coming weekend and happy crafting.
Sounds lovely. Good to hear Dartmoor is on the list. You have a fab weekend too xx
