I am still doing “The Blues” it would seem. And definitely a Blue Period I am enjoying tremendously.
My Blues Blanket is now onto the next round of colour, which happens to be Duck Egg Blue. I am totally loving this colour.
And I have started some knitting for Fall and Winter. With the Autumn Equinox coming up this weekend here in the Southern Hemisphere, it is only fitting to start some warmer knits. On my needles (the new ones from Germany) is a Tanis Triangular Shawl in Hartlam Plain Sailing, a stunning shades of blue hand dyed yarn, with a silver sparkle. I have not put the beads in the body of the shawl, but I may add some to the lacy edge of the shawl.
Happy crafting all.
Love your colours, the blanket squares are going well
Thank you. They are coming along nicely, and at this rate, I may even have a blanket for the Winter. 🙂
Wonderful colors, blues are the best! Some beads on the edge of the shawl would be just the thing. Autumn, hmmm? I hope you had a good summer! We are looking forward to it here, for sure!
Thank you. I am so loving blues. I do other colours to but I seem to going through a very blue stage right now. I should knit warmer colours soon, with Fall coming now. I can feel it in the crisp morning air now. 🙂
Summer was excellent, and we finally got some rain as well. I must admit I love winter, it is very mild here.
Enjoy the warmer days, I am sure it is coming!!
Well, we are having another winter storm today, but after that, I will believe in what you say. 🙂 I like blues all year long, they go with the warm colors and the cool colors. 🙂
I saw news footage of the snow and the storm, pretty bad winds at some places I saw too. Wow. Keeping my fingers crossed its the last one for the winter. 🙂
I hope your fingers work! IT was a nasty storm, but quick – snow stopped falling about midnight, now we have wind and clean up, and then more clean up because the wind blows it around. 🙂
Beautiful blues! I love your blanket squares. They are stunning.
Thank you. And at this rate, I may even have a blanket for the winter. I should have done granny squares years ago. So much fun, and so rewarding. 🙂
Gorgeous projects looking lovely in blue. Duck egg blue is one of my favourites xx
Thank you. I am loving this blue, first time using it, and so happy with the results. It just lifts the squares and let them really stand out. 🙂
Looking good. As you probably already know, I love blue 🙂
Thank you. Yes, I do. I love my blues just as much. 🙂
Love the blues especially the duck egg blue. Your shawl and blanket are working up nicely.
Thank you so much. I am loving these blues more each day. My first duck egg blue project, and it is becoming a favourite.
🙂 and I should even have a blanket by the time winter gets here in sunny SA.
Beautiful blues. Can’t wait to see the finished projects.
Thank you. Going good and both are fun projects. I may just have a blanket by winter. 🙂
