I may suspect that I have recently been on a bit of a “bag loving binge” I have been adding to my stock of Project bags recently, and these pretty ones are some of the lovely bags I got.
These bags I ordered from Gina at Natural Yarns. The are handmade by “alovesupreme”. I loved the use of our national flower, The Protea, on the fabric. The fabric is sturdy and the bag is fully lined. The smaller bags have zipper closures, and the bigger bags are drawstring. They are ideal for your notions and smaller projects.

New Project Bags
One bag that I have had my eyes on for a while now, was a cute bag with a “London” streetmap theme by Sally at Wooldiaries. But I just never seemed to be able to meet up with her. The perfect news came last week! Sally’s online store Yarnbling is now open. Of course, I could not resist placing the order for the London bag immediately. And of course, a few extra. The Skulls bag is so cute. And I love the bigger bag with the stars, it can take a nice large project.

New Project Bags
Sally also spoiled me with a super cute gift. She was in the area and dropped by the office to deliver my package, and I got the cutest notions baggie, with Stitchmarkers. Just look at these little skulls. I have never had little skulls. The next lace project will see these dangling inbetween the thread.

New Project Bags
Lovely bags, it’s great when you get something you’ve been hankering after for a while. Thanks to for the links to the sites. I love a bit of window shopping xx
Absolutely. These were just to pretty. I waited long for the London baggie, and I am very happy.
Indeed, love window shopping. xx
Those are so lovely, Johanna! I’d like so much to make some but I have so little time at my disposal lately! Oh, Christmas….
Hi there, thank you.
You would make great bags, you sew very well.
Lol. Christmas and the festive season. I need to get starting with my plans soon as well. 🙂
I’m in full holiday fever….. *sigh*
I am getting there, soon!! My daughter and son in law will be “home” this year, as they only visit Europe in January, so I need to start getting things done. I have already made them mittens and beanies for the trip, so they will be warm enough.
But I want to crochet tree decorations like yours! 🙂 They are perfect.
Do you need the pattern for the snowflakes? I think I have saved some on my Pinterest profile.
Great. Thanks so much. I will be looking at Pinterest and Ravelry for patterns. And I also have really nice old books, from when these were all the popular rage, I should look for those and see if the patterns are in them, they should be. 🙂
Ok 🙂 🙂 🙂
Visiting Europe? Which country or countries?
They plan to visit Belgium mainly. My son in law in Belgian, and his Mom lives in Antwerp. 2 Years ago they visited Belgium, Amsterdam and Paris. This time they may again do so, but Brussels and Antwerp is the main goal for now.
Let me know if you or anybody from your family would ever come to Italy so that I can give you some useful tips 🙂
Thank you, that will be just awesome. 🙂 Same to you if you ever get to visit SA.
Fabulous bags! Remember you can never have too many bags:)
Thank you. Indeed one can never have enough bags. I am now itching to cast on a project or two to use my new bags. 🙂
Once can never have too many bags! LOL! I love bags too and we crafters never have any problem filling them either 😉 All the bags you purchased are lovely! I especially like the flowered ones and the black and white check one is awesome! Can’t wait to see the skull stitch markers in action. I love them! Enjoy the week and happy crafting 🙂
Lol. I am thinking the same thing. One can never have enough bags. But now I am itching to cast on more projects to put in the bags. 🙂
Enjoy your week to, its lovely here, good weather, and a bit of nice rain over the weekend as well. We are happy!
Love your new bags. I need to order some more too. I have more projects going than bags
Thank you. I am so wanting to cast on new projects, just to use the bags. But I have 2 biggish projects going, and need to give them love and attention. 🙂 A small project wont do harm though.
Have a great week. xx
Lovely bags. And you’re the second person this week that’s reminded me this morning that I AM going to make some project bags.
Thank you.
Awesome, that would be great. Bags are always needed, I think one can just never have enough.
I “need” to start a small project or two though and use them. 🙂
Funny, there seem to be so many thing I can’t have enough of 😉 Look forward to seeing what projects you put in them 🙂
Lol. I was late to the office this morning, as I was digging around my stash. 🙂 I have a cake of bungundy yarn that I took out, and an idea for a wrap scarf, with cables.
Yep, you just have to give priority to digging in your stash when the urge takes you. Look forward to seeing your idea materialise. Are you making up the pattern yourself?
🙂 I have a picture, but no pattern yet. I have to look for the pattern again and order / buy it from the designer and then I can go for it.
How many bags?! And all so lovely – one can never have too many. I will be making some for my Stitching Santa recipients this year.
Lol. I should rather not count. 🙂
But I think my son in law will be wanting the skulls baggie. It is just the right size to keep a whole lot of markers and coloured pens in for when he is out and about and feels like drawing. Just his thing.
I look forward to Stitching Santa, and already have a few ideas myself. Thanks for the swap, it was so much fun last year.
Love the London bag!
Thank you. It was the original idea behind the order, as I could not resist it. 🙂 LOL. I did end up buying more as well. It was to hard to just buy one. 🙂
I can never buy just one ball of wool!
lol. I know. It is always for that “just in case” moment. I think one is just never enough. 😉
